John brings over 30 years experience in Administration and Human Resources specialising in Education and Training.
John has significant experience in designing training and assessment programs in the areas of management, effective supervision, staff selection, job seeking skills, report writing and customer service.
Having worked extensively with subject matter experts to design robust training programs in a range of subjects including police covert operations which were converted into National Qualifications, John also was the Principal Tutor in Certificate IV Training and Assessment for the NSW Police Force.
John has managed Training Units responsible for designing police promotional assessment tasks and accrediting police trainers and assessors. He has also been involved in designing training based on the NSW Public Sector Capability Framework and often provides individual coaching for people looking for employment.
As a participant on a range of boards and committees including the NSW Public Sector Industry Training Advisory Board John has utilised his expertise to provide advice on skills shortages and requirements as well as training and assessment practices.
John holds a Bachelor in Adult Education, a Graduate Certificate in University Learning and Teaching and a Diploma in Training and Assessment.
In 2020 John was awarded the Public Service Medal for his contribution to Education and Training in the NSW Police.
