Carolyn has a long career in Industrial Relations, Human Resource Management, Training and Coaching. Reporting to CEO’s of major organisations, she has been involved at a corporate level in all aspects of the change management process, recruitment and training to enhance skill development.
Carolyn is passionate about helping people reach their potential by performing to their best ability and developing careers according to their strengths and desires.
Carolyn has successfully delivered a diverse range of training across multiple agencies of NSW Government, Local Government and Commonwealth Government. She prides herself on the ability to communicate across all levels of an organisation from executive and senior management down. Often involved in research, scoping, design and writing of training courses along with tailoring current courses to client’s needs as required.
Carolyn enjoys staying up to date on current neuroscience and its application to human potential and brain health. Wherever possible, she applies evidence-based concepts to her training and one-on-one coaching.
With her interest in successful conflict management, she has developed and delivered training courses around Dealing Positively with Conflict; Having Difficult Conversations, Dealing with Client / Customer Aggression and De-escalation Techniques plus Effective Communication Skills. Another of her areas of interest is helping employees effectively manage their stress levels and engage constructively in self-care.
Carolyn delivers a wide range of courses including Change Management and Building Resilience, Working with Challenging Behaviour, Customer Engagement, Building Dynamic Teams, Writing Job Applications / Interview Skills and Merit. Recently she has worked on transferring course content into effective and engaging e-learning formats.
Carolyn holds a Master of Arts Degree (Industrial Relations) and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. She has completed post-graduate studies in Industrial Law; is a Cinergy-trainer Conflict Coach; is certified to deliver Conflict Dynamics Profile (CDP); holds Neuroscience Academy Certificate in Applied Neuroscience and Brain Health; and is a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
